Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Venice Photo Club?

The Venice Photo Club is a community of camera people in west LA. We are hobbyists and professionals alike. We consist of marketers, directors, editors, producers, consultants, designers, filmmakers, and of course photographers. The Club is an open ended space where creatives can network, volunteer and socialize together and our connecting thread is our love for photos.

How do I join the Venice Photo Club?

The Club is open ended. Whether you are a hobbies who only uses their iPhone, a barista who loves film, a graphic designer looking to get into photography, a professional who only shoots with a DSLR or anyone in between, our doors are open to all.

What is a photowalk?

Photowalks are usually lead by a OGBFF of the Club and a group follows a map around town and takes photos together. Sometimes it is just hitting sunset, or grabbing a coffee, and just getting some steps in. It is an opportunity to get out, and meet new people.

Can I schedule a photowalk?

Yes, we’d love that! Direct message or email the Club and let us know you are interested in going on a photowalk. Give a couple dates and times that would work for your schedule and we’ll see what fits in with our programming!

When do events take place?

Events are announced via Instagram. We run galleries, host expert speakers, hold free workshops, have zine launch parties, and so much more.

How do we schedule an appointment to buy prints and art?

DM or email us your availability to swing by to see our current collections.

Please email the club with any other questions.
